Day of Pink

The Day of Pink originated in Nova Scotia when a group of high-school boys organized a protest to support a grade 9 boy who was being bullied for wearing pink. We all have the right to live safely in society, free of harassment or harm to our mental or physical state. The International Day of Pink is a celebration to end bullying, discrimination, homophobia and transphobia. We all deserve to be ourselves.

On Wednesday, April 12th please wear pink to show that you support ending all bullying and discrimination. There will also be treats for sale in the front lobby near Anna's cafe, and each treat comes with a message of good fortune.
